The start of this trip in Russia was an absolute dream. With the visa process taken care of, I was so incredibly excited to go back to one of my favorite places in the entire world. There is so much to see and do in Russia, but with limited time I decided to go to just Moscow and St. Petersburg. I easily could have spent longer than 16 days though! It was an absolutely amazing time and such a dream come true. To share a bit with you all, I thought I’d do a photoessay with my favorite photos from Russia. Here are my top 30 pictures!
Which photo is your favorite?!

Hi, tks for sharing. I am Judy from Singapore, would like to know more regarding yr trip. All those sightseeing can be done by train or drive? Kindly advise cos I am first timer doing free and easy trip with my friend . Tks
Hi Judy, I took the train everywhere on my trip to Russia – it is a much easier option than driving, especially in Moscow where the traffic is horrendous. Russia is by no means an easy destination but certainly worthwhile 🙂
When is the best time to travel in Russia? Tks
I think Russia is a great destination year-round (if you can be prepared for the cold), but I definitely think visiting St. Petersburg during White Nights (June-mid July time) is best 🙂
